Synopsis

As a recent graduate, I'm currently living in the quiet town of South Salem, NY, looking to break loose in the DC Area. I'm an avid tech junkie, car lover, videogamer (gamertag Coop920), and overall passionate fan of good design. Plagued by boredom, I'm constantly looking to expand my knowledge of current trends and new technologies. I look forward to broadening my skills in a professional work environment.

Matthew Phillips Salon

Matthew Phillips is one of the leading hair salons in West Hartford, CT. When asked to design and develop their website to accompany their changing business strategy, I was more than pleased to take on the project. With a clean slate, I was able to design their site uniquely with visual elements as compared to their closet competitors. Utilizing XHTML, CSS and Flash, I delivered a website that was visually appealing and satisfied the needs of the client.

When approached by Heidi Palmer, the message she implicitly wanted to convey was simplicity. The website was to focus specifically on her amazing style of artwork as much as possible. I worked very closely with Heidi to deliver the site that she sought after, while having some freedom to work with the styling that CSS offers. I look forward to seeing more great work from her in the future.

My Syllabus

Designed and developed with fellow student, Chris Colbert, this website was created for our senior project at Ithaca College. Our goal was to craft the ultimate organization utility to allow students and administrators to be able to manage a variety of tasks. The website gives users the capability to organize syllabus sheets, view homework and other scheduled events with a mini-feed. Users can also message teachers and classmates when they are in a bind, and the website includes a CMS to add or delete events.
